I am trying to do above with a custom db that builds fine with the default kraken2-build command, but builds a db with no data if kmer length is specified to be equal to minimizer length of 31.
Tried and failed several times, initial hash size estimate itself is 48 kb and final hash contains nothing we can find with kraken2-inspect.
What may be the reason?
Kraken2 Version is 2.1.1
