DD Tech: Color code ticket items based on status #276

One pain with CWM is that in the calendar view all tickets have the same color regardless of whether they are Past Due, Scheduled, Assigned, etc. I don't see them implementing custom color coding even though that should be super-easy. We need to see at a glance if a ticket is an onsite schedule firm with the customer for example, and can't easily be rescheduled without going into each ticket.

Can this be implemented in DD Tech then? We would be able to assign colors based on the ticket status. This would also be super-cool to see in a Dispatch view (all techs) but that can be a later enhancement.

@Lowell-Syncrety You know what would be super awesome? If you added a rough sketch of the kind of thing you mean :)

I agree this would be awesome! For Example:

Red - Passed Due Yellow -Scheduled Onsite Blue - Scheduled Remote Green - Completed And so on so on!

Do you mean specifically for the Dispatch view? As for coloring, it's literally just coloring the appointment with whatever color we decide to assign to a status. My comment about also doing a Dispatch view is just a view that shows all technician calendars on one screen as shown in the CWM Service Desk\Dispatch Portal view. So if there was color coding implemented on the individual DD Tech calendar view, then we could also switch the calendar to a Dispatch view that would show all techs the color coding would need to also be there.
