More Macro Automation Options #542

It would be nice if we could add more functionality to the macros. Specifically to change ticket details like the status, service type, tags, and resources.

There isn't a support ticket, just hoping to add more functionality when creating macros in the desk director desktop app

Could you create support ticket then let our support know this user voice. Then they will add reference to this.

As for user voice itself. Macro can achieve what you want, it is designed for following case.

Change status, service type for ConnectWise is extremely difficulty, as nature of system design. Each board have its own status, type, sub type etc.

For such shortcut macro to be exist without help of 3rd party automation system. Which means you should provide operation for each board if that make sense. If board is not match, then nothing will be executed.

Of course, such setting or instruction will be required for 3rd party automation as well. The plus side of use 3rd party automation is the logic can be as complex as you want.
