130 is wrong. It is supposed to be 300. Please submit user voice through support. Else it is hard for us to know who you are.
Please don't close this, it is not resolved. The last comment was just a bug notification. The main issue is the ability to use a custom field length. Support advised that I raise a user request myself, so I have.
Sorry, I was not clear. We expect people submit user voice through support, then our support will create here with ticket ID associated with it. So we have reference who submitted, how much they are paying.
OK. I have raised ticket #43529 yesterday. I will ask the tech to submit the User Voice for me.
We have fixed incorrect number for 300 option. We have also added many more variants. Since form editor itself is complex, we will put this under consideration until next time revisit.
Thanks very much Jason. In the short term, for our specific purposes, I would really like 64, 128, and 256 options, as these are Microsoft standards in Active Directory. If that can be added, that would work for now.
Sure, I will include them.
It is now on staging.
Thanks. How does staging work? Do I need to approve it, or does it get rolled into production automatically? In my staging environment I only see the attached options.
You need to refresh the app. staging is a place we test out our next release.
Sorry. I have logged out and logged back in to staging, and cannot see more than the previous screenshot.
When using the Add Validation option on a Text field in DD Forms, I am only able to select the following numeric values for the maximum length: 20, 30, 50, 150, 130, 500, 1000
Please allow the field length to be a custom number.
We are using the forms for creating Active Directory users, and some of the AD fields have rather limited field lengths, like Job Title and Department that are only 64 characters. 50 is too short, and 150 gives the user a false sense of the length.
By the way, is the 130 supposed to be 300, or is just in the wrong order?
