Proposed change
Create a workflow where users can configure and equip loadouts. A loadout is a set of items, mods, and abilities.
As a DIM user, I would like to create a new loadout associated with a character. I will give it a name and description and choose a set of items, abilities, and potentially mods that comprise the loadout.
As a DIM user, I would like to create a new loadout associated with a character using an existing loadout as a starting point.
As a DIM user, I would like to be able to edit a loadout's name, description, items, abilities, and mods.
As a DIM user, I would like to to delete an existing loadout.
As a DIM user, I would like to be able to select a loadout I've defined to equip it. If the loadout uses mods that are not currently equipped to their associated items, I should be given the option to spend glimmer to equip them.
How does this fit into your workflow?
A player often uses specific loadouts for different activities. For example, a hunter might want to have a loadout that they use for PVP that consists of:
Abilities: Middle tree void, top dodge, voidwall grenade, and triple jump.
Weapons: Ace of Spades, Beloved with Icarus Grip, Temptation's Hook.
Armor: (Specific set of items that they've optimized for PVP in each slot). Wormhusk Crown.
Likewise, they may have different loadouts that they use for different maps in PVP, different Nightfall: The Ordeals, raids, dungeons, etc. Whatever they want. Among other things, I would use this to quickly set up my character to use a loadout optimized for a specific Nightfall: The Ordeal.
