nix-installer not placing nix on path in arch linux #1004

would be great to know where the binary gets placed so I can adjust this immediately

ran the determinate installer from zsh in an arch linux system, the script completed successfully, but after following instructions and restarting my shell, nix is still not on the path.

having the same problem here using MacOs Sonoma and zsh
