Thank you for your feedback.

This bug report was rejected because in this day and age, the word "app" is commonly used and understood as a contraction of the word "application" and the two terms are often used interchangeably. It was an intentional decision of the developers to use the word "app" in the caption of the image (since it is preferred that captions are kept short), while using the full word "application" in the main paragraph. Given the understanding above, we feel that this will not cause any confusion in the reader of the DG at all, and hence, this does not constitute as a documention bug.
