if you have multiple multilingual text boxes in a section the second tab will be active when you edit an entry. if only one field is present the first tab is active as you would expect.

I don't understand at all what is the issue... When you select a language in one field of the section, all other tabs change to select the same language., this is not a bug is the way the extension works.

azzagazz commented 12 years ago

no, i mean if you open up an entry all multilingual text boxes have the second language tab set to active. it should be set to the first one, which is the case if only one such field is present. can i post screens in here? :)

the language selection as you mention works perfectly fine.

I can not reproduce the error, tell me wich version of symphony are you using. Did you see if there are any other javascript error that cause this error? The language of your symphony user is the default multilingual language?

azzagazz commented 12 years ago

i am using 2.3.1, frontend localisation 1.7.1, multilingual text box 2.1. there are no javascript errors showing. i have three languages defined (de, en, fr) they show fine in the tabs. i have "de" defined as default language. and if there is only one field in the section i get "de" as the active tab but as soon as there are multiple its always "en".

I got same problem here. In general, the Main Language appears not work. On pubish page and edit page the values are always showed in english (no matter what is the language order).

@6ui11em did you have some ideia about this?

bernardodiasc commented 11 years ago

Now I see... The languages are get by the system default before the Main Language, right? I've installed the Portuguese translation and then works fine.

Since today I've taken over the extension. Update your git refs etc. I'll update the status of this issue over the weekend.

Fixed in Frontend Localisation 2.4.
