Suggestion: Form builder #1

I already requested Lamin Sanneh for a simple implementation for providing solutions for handling multiple contact forms for a single website. It would be grate if you could implement it in this plugin.

I don't know what do you want. Could you give me an example of what you would like to achieve with multiple contact forms on the same website?

For example. I need one form with different fields to receive the feedback for the website. One form to use for contact form. And one for applying for job with more than 10 fields to fill in.

Ok. This is a very complex task, because we need a form builder. I canno't say when this will be possible, but I will try to do my best. I will provide a changelog.

I have purchased a plugin https://octobercms.com/plugin/fabriciorabelo-contact for the similar query. It is working perfectly. But after some time i am facing some issues. I have also mentioned those issues in here but no response from the developer since long back. https://octobercms.com/plugin/support/fabriciorabelo-contact.

You can see VijayP. 2nd and 3rd query. You can check and see the problem i had faced when i used these plugin on my client's website.

As I don't have the plugin, I canno't check this issue. It could be a lot of factor, including the logic behind the plugin. What I am planning to do is something like renatio.formbuilder, but free and open source :smile: !

I like this plugin as well, But that contact plugin was released before this one. And you can see in that form builder plugin you can create many forms and assign different mail templates to each of those forms. And if this can be done it will provide solution to every contact form requirements available in October CMS.

I need to leave now, but I can exept the first beta to be around 2-3 weeks depending on how far I can go. Stay tuned for more details!

The first version of the form builder will be 1.2 and will included :

This version will not support choices inputs (dropdown, radio), and files inputs.

Tomorrow, I will push the database, with the first backend. It will not include relation, for tomorrow, so it will not be functionnal at all (will be on branch dev).
