Hi all.
Sorry if my question might sound stupid or is asked in a wrong place. So here is my issue:
Let's say both lamps are connected normally and Lamp1 is sending the message 'red'. Now for any given (human error :D) reason Lamp2 is switched off or is being restarted, it connects to adafruit and that's it. It would not read the last message and stays dark (whilst Lamp1 is pulsing. If you now would send a message (let's say blue) from Lamp2 both are pulsing in different colors... Now the only way of fixing it, would be to power cycle both lamps and start from scratch. That might not be an issue whilst testing both lamps next to each other but in a long distance scenario this might get clumsy. Hope you understand what I am trying to explain... 😂.
Now after thinking that through, I just realize after 15 min this should solve itself right? So theoretically one would only miss one 'message' right?
Could something like a 'reset all lamps' functionality be implemented ?
Hi!
I understand what you're saying, but as you said, after 15 mins they will sync again when both have reached their timeouts.
There's also one way to reset both lamps, and it by posting manually a 66 in the server
