Working on El Capitan? #1

Hi Pavel,

since AlDente is not working on older macOS-Versions, I tried your script on my old MacBook Pro running El Capitan. But I receive an error message every time I try to run the script:

ERROR: SMC out parse failed valid " BCLM [ui8 ] 60 (bytes 3c)" current " BCLM [ ] no data"

Am I doing something wrong?

@burnout-syndrome Hi, could you run smc app manually using terminal inside osx_battery_charge_limit folder and show me the output?

@burnout-syndrome Unfortunately, there is no battery level control variable in your notebook's SMC. What model of your Macbook? I've tried on my old Macbook Air 2011, it contains BCLM variable.

I'll just add that my 2008 aluminum unibody MacBook (not MBP) also lacks the BCLM entry.
