Very nice. Thanks for the suggestion and providing a patch for this.

I would like to see the ability to define a custom function for handling the 
default reporting flags (such as --help as defined in gflags_reporting.cc), at 
runtime instead, however. The gflags library could then still provide a version 
of its default reporting function(s) which uses color. Moreover, users could 
simply implement their own functions to realize a custom help format. As also 
requested in #32.
