That does happen from time to time. I have had it happen to me many times.. but rebooting or resetting will fix the issue. I am a bit surprised that you are not using Steam Link that came out in November of 2023. I dont Maintain the OculusKiller anymore do to that reason. I have tested Steam Link. and works flawlessly other then the fact you cant do everything you would do with just running OculusKiller, it does work pretty good..
Steam Link doesn't work wired afaik, and i don't have the infrastructure for wireless.

What about legacy headsets, like the Rift S (~12% of SteamVR users), which are wired? They still benefit from OculusKiller
OculusKiller is still available.. I stopped maintaining it because of SteamLink and it seemed like it wasnt worth the time anymore. but if it still works.. its available. I worked my butt off on redesigning and perfecting OculusKiller, Nobody seemed to really care much so I figured it wasnt really needed anymore. But left it up for so some could still use it if needed. In all, it doesnt really need much more of an update..
When using Oculuskiller and using link it opens the old SteamVR dash instead of the 2.0 dash. OS: Windows 10 22H2 HMD: Oculus Quest 2
