About the opportunity
This DevOps Engineer position will help design, implement and support AWS Cloud environments. This position will work closely with the development teams, other DevOps Engineers and IT Operations group. This person needs to have strong problem solving skills, eager for learning, be very organized, and have the ability to multi-task.

You will be expected to:
Design and build AWS environments using automated workflows
Help develop a library of scripts to automate the WEX AWS cloud environments
Work with development teams translating requirements into designs and automated workflows
Assist developers and DevOps teams with implementing automation scripts that follow the WEX standards
Work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Info Security and Operations to develop automation that meet our standards and compliance requirements.
Complete projects and other duties as assigned
Train off-hours staff for duties that can be performed, during non-business hours.
Project lead on technology changes
Participate in the on-call support rotation.
We are looking for a professional who has:
Knowledge and experience with AWS and other cloud Technologies
Working experience with AWS Cloud Formation, TerraForm, Ansible, Jenkins, Chef and Puppet
Scripting experience in Python, Ruby, Perl, or Bash
Schedule flexibility to accommodate on-call responsibilities and different time zones
It would be great, if you already had the opportunity to work with:
Certified AWS Architect
AWS Security Group and Route Table experience
Experience meeting PCI, HIPAA, and Sarbanes-Oxley security requirements
Strong Networking and Security ACL experience
Extensive knowledge in AWS development, cloud native tools and design patterns
Expertise with J2EE, Angular, AWS, XML, JDBC, Jasper Reports, SQL
