Launch at login not working #102

Hi,

I have checked "Launch at login" but unfortunately DevUtils does not launch. I also tried adding this manually to the login items of MacOS, but the app is not added there.

Currently running the Developer Beta 8 of MacOS Ventura (13.0) on a M1.

Hi there!

Can you check if the app has been moved to the Applications folder?

rfscouto commented 1 year ago

Hi, sorry for the late reply. The app is in the Applications folder.

Can you try to reinstall the app? 😅 This issue is likely caused by a permission problem, which often resolves itself after a re-install.

Seems to be ok now. I updated Ventura to the latest beta and I could add it then to the login items. Thanks for the support.

Hi @trungdq88!

(Everything that follows has to do with macOS Monterey)

I've had this issue ever since I first installed the app — launching at login never worked for me. Recently I formatted for unrelated reasons and installed fresh, I still have the same issue.

When you say reinstall, do you mean simply redownloading and overwriting in the Applications folder or is there some other procedure you'd like me to try?

I get that adding it to Login Items is a workaround, but I have a bunch of other apps launching just fine without being added there. Is there something you can do?

I remain at your disposal if I can help you troubleshoot. Thanks!
