Cross sections artifacts are visible at some places where two different FIMs are put together.

Need to assess if this gap is from the raw RAS output grids or post-processing procedures. Fingers crossed for post-processing procedures. Since we are not clipping the raw RAS results I wasn't expecting any special handling of the extent of the grids.

I looked into this. It looks like the raw HEC-RAS output has this gap. we may have to intentionally overlap the model areas by 1 cross section and then clip the results. @slawler can we grab one extra cross section upstream of each NWM reach?

Grabbing extra cross section will have consequences, that's what RAS2FIM did and it shows up. A better approach might be to duplicate last cross section after 5, 10, (or spatial resolution of DEM) feets.
