Ya it is the same for me - if you access the demo at your GitHub repo using the Google browser, you get a security warning when you try to log in and you can't log in.

If the app or site doesn’t meet Google's security standards, Google might block you from signing into your account via it by default. Less secure apps can make it easier for hackers to get in to your account, so blocking sign-ins from these apps helps keep your account safe.

Google is blocking custom clients like this YouTube custom client build that is copying their work so that those clients cannot use login feature. If you found a way to bypass this, sent to me some script or something that can sent false-informations to the Google servers that we're using supported client and browser for logins
