How to install NINJA and ABBLAST? #162

I want to know the WEB site to install NINJA and ABBLAST. I tried RepeatModeler2 repeatedly but always made a lot of mistakes. I always can't get a masked genome sequence at last. I know this error must happen because I didn't install this software. However, I searched on WEBsite, and I could not reach the site to install them.

Please tell me which site I should install them on and detect Transposable Elements.

Hi @Shokusei , you can download NINJA from this link. https://wheelerlab.org/software/ninja/download.html

  1. Unpack it (you will find 2 files: ninja and Ninja.jar)
  2. Rename file1 ninja to Ninja
  3. Enter the folder path to RepeatModeler as you configure Hope this will help
