Using the DAC the sound level is much higher, even higher than when connected to the computer. There is a difference when using 3.5 mm cable and RCA, the former giving even more amplification on low volume.
During testing of amplifier and speakers it was noted that the sound volume from the Raspberry Pi was quite low compared from using a laptop.
A possible solution would be to us a DAC HAT (Digital Analog Converter Hardware Attached on Top).
