There is a free project at GitHub with welding routine for abaqus See https://github.com/cheneyjin/welding_dflux_subroutine

perhaps a simple Adaption is here possible for welding in calculix.

Very good work, this great example should be linked to Calculix web page. And ist should supported to actual and next versions.

What is the difference between the two ways? Which Is better?
