This story would profit from extension based on a slightly different ontology of history. The implicit ontology of history in this user story seems to be that history has ended. But history is being done, it is happening in the present. So, as a Scholar of the (hi)story of the object/subject, I want to trace how the subject/object's (hi)story develops: Thus, I like to know about access meta/data to this object/subject: who is using this object/subject, for what, when, how can the user be contacted, how is this object/subject brought into relation to other objects/subjects (i.e. how do their (hi)stories interweave?
Such a take might actually be compatible with https://know.dissco.eu/handle/item/115 (p.19) call to collect data on "collection usage/data access requests".
Hi @ilippert, Thanks for the comment to point out the dynamic aspect of history. DiSSCo's idea of using "Digital Specimens" as actionable Digital Object would allow capturing of such ongoing data. If you have a real use case to share I think that would be also useful.

Shall I generate this as a new issue, or add it here?
yes, feel free to create a new issue.
