Hook for all items that get generated/dropped? #36

How feasible is it to be able to handle each item generation event (thinking mostly of items dropped by monsters, but other sources like chests and npc shops could be relevant too)?

Well it would be possible without too much hassle I guess :) Have not yet looked into that direction though. Is there a specific use case? It would probably just give you similar information to what you would get when pressing ALT ingame.

I see it could be used for some game strategy testing\investigation. For example, check how many jewels drop in a single cow level run.
