On the feature/transparent-file-store branch, it looks like
feature/transparent-file-store
tests/test_data/i12/separate_flats_darks/yaml_loader_template/loader_separate_flats_darks.yaml
contains the old YAML method format, and an updated version of this exists in
samples/pipeline_template_examples/DLS/03_i12_separate_darks_flats.yaml
The former doesn't look like it's being used anywhere (tests of I12 data that has separate darks/flats use the latter file), so removal of the former at some point probably makes sense.
