Travis is broken! #19

Due to updates by Travis, our continuous integration no longer works!

The issue was caused by a hack we had used to make matplotlib work for the visualization tests. This hack is no longer ne.eded for python >3, although python 2.X is still broken. Since python 2 is on the way out anyway, I have just disabled the visualization tests for python 2.7
