Casper Testnet - Scope of Work Proposal #1

Need a detailed proposal for implementing a validator on the Casper testnet. The proposal focuses on the four sections detailed below. Each section should include a strategy description, rationale and expected hours of work to implement. Feel free to reference and use existing open-source resources from the Ethereum Foundation or other repositories.

Proposal Sections:

Signature Validation Contract - describe various signature options available along with your recommendation

Voting Manager - propose an existing or modified validator implementation script capable of forming votes and transmitting to the network

AWS Configuration - recommend instance type and other configuration advice (operating system, admin rights etc)

Security - identify main private key threats, propose redundancy plan, avoid validator downtime and slashing conditions

Rewards: $250 - First Place $75 - for any suggestions that are added to the first place proposal

The First Place winner will be offered a bounty to implement their proposal on a Casper testnet

Let’s use whichever format is easier to pull into the github repository. I will leave that up to. Thanks for your interest in this project.

Since you cancelled the bounty, it will also come up on my gitcoin portfolio. Expect you to get at least compensate for the additional 0.2 ETH I used for submission. Totally your call at this.
