The way images are handled in item show pages and exhibits can be improved a lot.

Explore image gallery options in bootstrap — something with a lightbox viewer as on this page would be really nice to implement to handle multiple files better.

Actually here's a great step by step article for how to get this working. It would make the theme MUCH more desirable and be fully bootstrap compliant.
