In a <note> within the app, what's the best way to distinguish between the Latin of a variant and the Latin of Giarratano's comment? For example, 2.71 has this: <note><q>totum-hornum</q> vel <q>foetus-hornus</q> <ref target="#Burm.">Burm.</ref></note>

I'm not sure why I used <q>. That should probably be <quote>. In any case, in the viewer, the whole thing is in italics.

We need to take a look at this one for other reasons now. The note is behaving like a rdg.
