We would want to offer for the Tate Exchange a performative intervention, where the audience is the performer. The aim of this intervention is to reinforce the link between humans and nature through the use of emergent technologies. The idea is to gather on workshops previous to each session within the Tate Exchange, to create and learn about emergent technologies. We would offer introductions to new technologies utilised in our process. Through the exchange of presence and participation, we would also want to create an installation that transforms and exists as a space only activated through interaction.
How will the public get involved (invited participants, targeted audiences i.e schools, groups)
Younger generations (school groups, teenagers and children) are our first targeted group. Our aim is to reintroduce them to nature as a responsible medium for technology. Using emergent technologies in coexistence with natural elements. We hope the younger generations will bring in their more familiar or intuitive relationship with technology while complementing with our second target.
Older generations are our second target. We hope they can contribute to this intervention by sharing their stronger relationship with nature compared to “millennials”. By doing this intervention, we aim to enable them to have a better understanding of new technologies.

The event we want to create is a combination of workshops, talks and interactive installation. We will be introducing emergent technologies through nature as a foundation.
