Title

Re-narrating the Collection

Short paragraph for context (what you will do) or if you are offering to be a part of the collective & join other projects, what you can offer etc.

Undergraduate students from Graphic Design and Photography at Camberwell College of Arts will be working collaboratively to produce alternative gallery guides to the displays at Tate Modern. Adapting and repurposing established formats, from booklets to audio guides, as well as exploring new ways of engagement through performative technologies, the project seeks to address the museum's role in narrating its displays and open up new readings by bringing personal and social contexts and associations to the exhibitions.

How will the public get involved (invited participants, targeted audiences i.e schools, groups)

Students will distribute their alternative guides throughout Tate Modern on the day. Pending approval by Tate, this could happen within the specific galleries that the guides relate to, or from distribution points at the entrances. Tate Exchange will operate as a base that maps the various guides and interventions across the galleries.
