[ ] Take before/after screenshots of the interface as we're developing it. (Later this may include screenshots of the official Digital Mitford website, too.) @SavannahRicks to start with screenshots. @tylerakam to work on short video clip.
[ ] Include some shots / clips of the code. (Also note that this is preserved in the GitHub history.)
[ ] After you take the screenshots, @SavannahRicks will overwrite the original site structure on this repo to feature our current display of the Journal.
[ ] To bring Nature (plants / animals) images into view, let's try amending the SI entries to point directly to good images of each entry (because there are not that many and they would look really nice on the site if they properly displayed in our gloss panel).
[ ] @SavannahRicks updates her savannah branch from tsa-Transcribe branch, and then works on transcription without SI tagging yet. Work with both the typescript and the photo facsimile of the handwritten journal. Move into October 1820 or as far as you get. Ping Tyler in Slack when you finish two weeks of entries in Mitford's journal. Also, open a PR direct to Tyler's
tsa-Transcribe
branch, and ask him to review and merge in. Remember togit pull
to pull in the changes locally.[ ] @tylerakam updates his branch from Savannah's by merging in her PR and pulling in the changes. He reviews Savannah's new entries and supplies a round of SI tags and raises questions about what he can't find. Use Slack to ping Savannah and let her know when this is ready for her to review. Also open a PR direct to Savannah's
savannah
branch, and ask her to review and merge in. Remember togit pull
to pull in the changes locally.[ ] @SavannahRicks then responds to Tyler's PR and updates her branch from tsa-Transcribe. Remember to
git pull
to pull in the changes locally.[ ] @ebeshero reviews the work on the branches at a late June meeting. We'll review what questions are coming up from the new Journal data.
