New features: stock check, github workflows

Fixes: Spelling, headers in downloaded report

This PR is much less dramatic than github makes it look. Possibly due to renaming development to dev. Or more likely that squash commit (i.e. divergent) that I'm regretting. It is actually only bringing #24 , #30 , #29, #22, #35 and #36 to stable release.

Closing as changing the way we do PRs for releases. PS the content is already in the target branch.
