Formalize metadata content, comparable to DD-API 'Source' object #19

The DD-API defines a 'Source' object with attributes that describe the origin of a time series, which often is useful additional information. At Deltares for instance we use timeseries.source.process to distinguish between hindcast and forecast. It would be good to define a comparable set of attributes as part of the 'metadata' object.
