[Bug] Required for client #32

I want to be able to host my LAN game to my friends and not bother them with installing any of my mods. However, it doesn't let other players join the game without Custom LAN installed: изображение

This seems to be connected to https://github.com/FabricMC/fabric/issues/2168, but I wasn't able to replicate it on Minecraft 1.20.4 with the latest version of Custom LAN (2.3.0)… Which version of Minecraft and Custom LAN are you using, and which other mods do you have, if any?

With Minecraft 1.20.1 + Fabric 0.15.7 Custom LAN 2.2.3 Just remove Custom LAN for client to reproduce.

Modpack: host.mrpack.zip. Remove .zip and install in Prism Launcher or Modrinth App

Ah, if the client is Vanilla, then it connects just fine, but if it has Fabric API, it gives this error… Quilt appears to have a way to fix this, RegistrySynchronization.setEntryOptional, but this mod doesn't have any Quilt-specific code to remain smaller (and you're using Fabric anyway), and Fabric doesn't seem to have a way to do this, so I guess we'll just have to watch https://github.com/FabricMC/fabric/issues/2168 for any updates…
