Fix POD documentation

Especially the dangling =end tag prevented pod2man(1) to create a manpage successfully.

Thanks for providing the fix. Do we still need the pod2man feature or should we move the documentation into a readme file?

I have merged your fix, because we should have at least one version with the correct format. But do we still need the pod2man feature? What are the advantages?

• add pipeline to build html and publish the documentation

Thanks for merging. IMHO it is still handy to create a manpage without the need of any esoteric tooling. As soon as you have Perl, you most likely have pod2man(1) too.
