Steam client update - check for updates? #420

Hello, Where is the opinion to check update(s)? I can't find it.

In readme is this: " You must also ensure that you are using the current BETA version of Steam, as otherwise this skin will not work correctly. "

Yeah, but where I can find update(s) for steam client?

Go to steam settings - account - beta testing - Steam Beta.

Seriously? I know how to be in steam client beta, but I want where can I find button to check Steam Client Updates..

Yeah #153 and #363 is what I want. As I can see, there is no chance to have it, so I will do it myself.

Best way to know if there are beta updates is simply looking here. https://steamcommunity.com/groups/SteamClientBeta

Steam automatically checks for updates when you (re)start steam. Its that white box with the loading bar that appears before the steam logo. It also periodically checks for updates while steam is running, but I am not sure how often.
