Actually the only missing part for Linux is Touchdesigner and I don't think this is up to @trash80 . You might have a look at https://forum.derivative.ca/t/what-will-it-take-to-get-derivative-to-make-td-for-linux/11349/37
Actually, you can run it on linux with https://github.com/laamaa/m8c I just tested on ubuntu and it seem to work!

Can you boot the headless firmware in some kind of VM like QEMU? Would be awesome to not even need a Teensy 4.1.
Super cool project, thanks for sharing. Are there any thoughts of compiling M8 for linux?
