Export conversation for a service not running #41

Hello, I have an old disa backup containing years of whatsapp messages and I can't take advantage of the "export conversation" feature as the menu containing it is not visible for a service not running (I can't activate whatsapp anymore, I believe the plugin has been discontinued in the meanwhile).

Is there a chance you can surface the export conversation feature to a less hidden place in the UI so that it can be of use for me?

or is there other way to extract from the information from the backup file?

Try activating WhatsApp with the official client. Once that's done, re-activate your WhatsApp using Disa - that should do it. From there you can activate Disa's WhatsApp.

you mean re-activating? I have my whatsapp official client running no matter what I try I always get a temporary not available error

Can you post the country code, MNC & MCC you're trying to activate with? Additionally, a screenshot of the error you see?

sure thing, but it kind of goes beyond my need: I'd really just love to be able to backup my conversations even if a service is currently not running. At the moment I feel like I'm a little locked in.
