When using the Assist addon command: assist me
In the console, I get: Assist: Lua runtime error: Assist/Assist.lua:243: attempt to concatenate field '?' (a nil value)
In chat I get: Assist Warning: Trying to assign outside of list range (1/0): @others
If instead I am explicit and use: assist me @others
Then it works perfectly.
I am using up to date Windower4, and playing retail FFXI.
