If a magic key does not exist. Or if it is expired.

Show a landing page instead of the D.T login page.

'this key is not valid or has expired.

pleas login in, look for a more recent key, or ask for a new one.'

Yep, I think you may be right; as this might be a core update... Just taking a look...
