What is the point of the badges system? as far as I could tell it never had a use or purpose the first time around...

I only added this because pius mentioned it. I don't know what I was going to use it for, so I put it here until I could gather feedback from the community. Until then, there's not much planned for this

Implemented in 5df0ea92ed17e3af2e706be26afdb015098738f7, need to add ability to remove badges
