Def: A disease of the lymph system manifesting as abnormal overgrowth of lymphatic vessels with multiple areas in the lungs, pleura, bones and soft tissues. The overgrowth of these vessels leads to lymphatic malformations, small or large cysts, formerly called lymphangiomas. These cysts often lead to bone destruction.
