DistWin7 error: Server execution failed #215

Distance issue 183 is actually a DistWin7 issue, included here. @GlennW7 I've moved your issue to this repository for Distance for Windows errors

@GlennW7 has this problem always existed since installation or did it develop after analyses were initially running ok? I understand that a re-install hasn't rectified it.

The only thing that isn't updated with a re-install is something called the DistIni... this must be removed manually from a directory in the users local appdata e.g. 'C:\Users\\AppData\Local\Distance\Distance 7.6' You will need to search for DistIni to find where yours is located to remove it. If you remove it, it will then be copied across again from the Distance installation directory when you next open Distance. I have seen the second error message you describe when there has been problems in the DistIni before but I have not seen the first error message you describe. Try this first and let me know how you get on.

@LHMarshall This problem appeared to develop after analyses were initially running ok.

I did try removing the DistIni, followed by another uninstall and re-install. The problem still persists.
