Are we still giving away the books? #6

The course summary (from back in September 2014) says we will provide the books. I don't recall this being in the budget, but I may be wrong.

My hope is that the majority of content in my online book will be done by then. Is there any discount we can get from Springer for electronic versions of Steve's new book?

Looking at a 13 November 2014 budget, book cost is not included. This is the verbiage that went from FAS in the quotation letter The delivery of a 3-day distance sampling workshop as part of the Environmental Leadership Program. Lectures, exercises etc. will be provided to participants on a memory stick.

Costs include travel, accommodation, salary for St Andrews employees.

Costs do not include administrative costs that might be incurred by Duke (such as administrative costs). They also do not include the cost of the venue and coffee, which will be organised by Duke University.

We can get an authors' discount for Steve's book of 33% off the list price "for personal use" if ordered directly from Springer.

My guess, only a guess, is that given the dsm-centric nature of the workshop, we would use materials you had prepared (because that was the genesis of the syllabus).

Okay, that's fine in that case. I will remove that section from the course description.
