app ilpost not opening #282

hello, I subscribe to an online magazine called www.ilpost.it. the app with which I listen to podcast content reserved for subscribers, often does not open and I would say it only opens if I disable the "DNS Content blocker" . Here https://divested.dev/hosts-domains-wildcards I found web.x.ilpost.it which I can usually whitelist, and I think it is consent to open the app. Could you remove it from your blacklist so I don't have to disable the blocker? Also I would like to ask you how I can disable dns filtering only for the Insular/Island working profile. I noticed that if I disable from security this change does not apply to the work profile. That domain is an alias of the Mapp tracking service, it is even noted here: https://unit42.paloaltonetworks.com/cname-cloaking/ I won't unblock it.

I'm surprised it causes the app to fail. Can you instead try the other steps here: https://divestos.org/pages/faq#appCompat

And for how the blocker is currently implemented, it is not possible to be app or profile specific, only global.

Thanks for your response. from my tests it doesn't start because of that call, and the app goes into timeout. i had noticed this because i had whitelisted on adguard and pihole

to bypass the block with other systems i had whitelisted that. While with Divest i have created links to subscriber podcast webpages, while i listen to the "public" ones with antennapod. i also wrote to the newspaper editorial office that web.x.ilpost.it is blacklisted in adguard and easylist lists, they replied that they passed to their technical department, in november, but no dice. However another workaround I am testing is this: main profile DNS Blocker disabled and private dns with of adguard with whitelist ("ilpost" opens). Working profile (thanks for your confirmation) which is not affected by disabling dns blocker, the app does not start. thanks MT
