There have been instances where players will be on the same score but the crown only appears for one of them, I suspect this is to do with the scores going beyond the 2-decimal-point mark to place one player ahead of the other.
This functionality will need to be reworked to round whatever scores are in play to the nearest 2 decimal points rounded down. This won't affect how the score displays just how the crowns appear onscreen.
