It is an interesting research proposal.

The strongest point of the research proposal, indeed, is the focus on understanding the dynamic relationship between fiscal policy and income inequality.This approach has significant implications for informing policy decisions and fostering sustainable economic growth.

The single point that could have been done better in the report is the identification strategy. The current research proposal includes only four variables, which may not be sufficient to accurately identify the structural shocks caused by fiscal policy. A more robust identification strategy is crucial to ensure that the findings of the macroeconometric analysis are reliable and accurately capture the relationships between fiscal policy and income inequality. To address the improvements, here is a combined to-do list:

• [ ] Review relevant literature to identify additional variables that may impact the relationship between fiscal policy and income inequality, such as other macroeconomic indicators
• [x] Download the data and consider potential data transformation such as log transformation as in my commit 7276bfb4fed5c042b2faa4ff1318e579d6b9f26c
• [x] Justify the reason for inclusion of the selected additional variables, considering the use of the Autocorrelation Function (ACF) and Partial Autocorrelation Function (PACF) tests, as in commit f4549e8127513aac7dd3cf636281fe484794ddf1
