Blue Pill #3

I would like to make the blue pill version but cannot find the design files. Please can you publish or direct me to it.

Hi, KiCAD sources are in controller-pcb directory.

I would only recommend using Blue Pill boards if you have old stock or Type C version made by WeACT Studio. As far as I remember, genuine F103 MCUs from STM have long been rare, and I can’t say anything about the level of compatibility of Chinese clones.

Sorry, I still don't see it, in the directory, or in the history.

They're definitely here. I thought that the problem was in the privacy settings of the repository, but everything is available without a login. 2024-01-25_12-45-28

I see these files, but they are for the black pill version.

Then I apologize, I misunderstood you. Once upon a time, the very first version of the board (before publication on Github) was for WeAct Blue Pill (not those classic generic Blue Pill), but I quickly discovered that they were becoming EOL, and the board had several other problems. I have plans to update the project: add a second rotated footprint for the tumb cluster connectors and add support for RP2040 (second offset footprint). I just have to find time for this.

I just checked again I was not confused with another project. It is described here: https://deskthority.net/viewtopic.php?t=25032 - v1.1 of this project it looks like.

I believe the pinouts are different. Maybe the WeAct ones are not, but at least some of them are.

I was looking for that one because I have some blue pills with different pinout, but I can just make my own.

I remembered. WeAct Blue Pill seemed to be almost identical to WeAct Black Pill, with few exceptions (see the table below).

I can upload the archive with version 1.1 somewhere, but, unfortunately, I’m bad with documentation - either there is practically none, or it’s a complete mess. So now I don’t remember what exactly version 1.1 is compatible with; you’ll have to look into the board’s source code yourself. Perhaps it will be much easier to take the latest sources and remake them to suit your needs. 2024-01-25_13-16-23
