artemis black screen #7

Hi I just bought a jailbreak ps 3 2 weeks ago so I'm really new to this and my knowledge about ps3 is really low. I want to use some cheats using artemis but I can seem to make it work all. I fallowed all the tutorial and video but can't make it work. the problem I'm facing is when I try to use artemis with a code selected it black screens. I tried using artemis first with codes selected and when I tried to load a game using multimen it also black screens. with out artemis multimen and the game works fine (I'm playing tales of xilia 2 English version)

my system software is 4.80 artemis is r4 on multimen it said firmware 4.78 firmware mode cobra 7.30 I think my ps3 is a fat/ old model

I also tried a post that said to disable the systemcall 8 and I did that using webman mode and I choose to disable permanently I hode that does not ruin my system.

Please any help with

The problem is that Artemis has no MAMBA payload for firmware 4.78. It's a simple fix that I'll try to get to right now.

Honestly I'd like to remove MAMBA support altogether. I think using CCAPI or DEX debug syscalls are much more reliable for the everyday user. CCAPI can be updated to a new firmware without Artemis modifications. DEX firmware can simply be updated. It would also make Artemis less firmware dependent (which would require less work on my end). But due to more prominent bugs (particularly memory leaks), I don't think I'll get to that for awhile. If I ever do.

Just tried the new version r5 still having the same problem when I select the game after using artemis with code selected it blackscreen. is there anything I need to do to before installing artemis like changing settings or instaling a new pkg?

Just want to say thanks for creating artemis. I just found out how to use it with out getting black screen. Fist I upgraded my system to rebug 4.80.1 and instal webman. Now I just choose the codes from artemis then mount the game using webman. after that the codes works fine. Its still black screen if I load using multiman and when I quit the game so I when I'm done I just choose to turn off the system not quit game. Hope this information will help with further upgrades. Sorry to bother you DNA, but I have a weird issue. I have rebug 4.78.1 installed, Webman, and multiman and Mamba installed. However, whenever I choose to start game with Artemis AFTER choosing my cheats, everything freezes at the main menu of Artemis. Music still keeps playing but no beeps, no black screen, nothing. I'm not sure what exactly I'm doing wrong. I've tried to follow tutorials that I could find but nothing would help.

The only solution I can think of is to have a PRX loader load artemis_ps3.sprx (found in /dev_hdd0/game/ARTPS3001/USRDIR/) before Artemis is launched from XMB.

I honestly have no idea why it has so much trouble loading the prx itself.
