Buy electronics kit for light-up snowflake #2

Would be nice to have a flashing light, rather than a solid light.

Would also be nice to require some very simple construction (eg: just copper tape, or just pressing together components) rather than buying a pre-made module.

Some ideas so far:

✅ 50 × CR2032 batteries ordered ✅ 50 × CR2032 battery holders with plastic housing ordered ✅ 25 × colour cycling 3V LEDs ordered ✅ 25 × flashing white 3V LEDs ordered

The LEDs are rated at 2.5–3.2V and 20mA. If we’re lucky, they’ll be closer to the 3–3.2V end of that range, and we will be able to hook them up to the 3V batteries directly, without a resistor. If we’re unlucky, we’ll need to split the battery’s voltage a little, with a 25 Ohm resistor (0.5V ÷ 0.02A). @magman2112 says he has a current tester he can bring in, once we’ve received the LEDs, to check exactly what voltage they’ll need.
