This can happen independently of #1 the motor and box of electronics bolt onto the base.

It would be worth gluing the bottom and side pieces of the box of electronics together to make it easier to maintain.

A better solution to fix the power supply to the leg would be helpful too.

Made a lot of progress with @pounac on reassembling. Just needs the bearings refitting to the big cog, and the joining pieces on the 3d printed quadrants. Then everything could use checking for tightness. I've glued the bottom of the electronics box together to make it easier to take apart in the future. For now just the switch and fan from #1 is enough to get this working again.

Given it has now been disassembled again, I'm going to use this to mark the reassembly for MakeFest. This is dependent on issues #8 and #9 (at least).

The lower circle piece has been sanded to fit the bearing (from #8 which has been reassembled.) and the inner ring and needles are in place. Remaining are steps 11 - 14 in the Circular Knitic instructable
